![]() I have no idea where we sit competitively and I don’t care. WW Monk has BY FAR been the most fun ive had playing this game in a long, long time. the very few people left playing this spec do it, because they are masochists or they love it to bits.Īs a new Monk who has no previous experience with Monks before now and so has no concept of what we gained or lost and only the experience of playing 5 other Classes. it has A LOT of problems and bugs, and no scaling and you are always ignored by blizzard. It would also make things like spiritual focus potentially vastly more appealing if you can get its CD down a lot lower to increase your effective amount of uses of it during boss fights.ĭont play windwalker if you want to push high level content. and it has the defensive portion of knowing if you need to pop it defensively to take hits for fight mechanics. its enough dmg for you to want to care about playing perfectly during the windows of it being up. its offensive and defensive in nature so again, you have a decision to make when you want to press it. in pve, you need to have fight knowledge and your cooldowns all in a line ready to go to maximise its output. in pvp its a giant sign saying CC me or else. its up semi often, it has counter play and a skill floor on it. give it the serenity graphic and its perfect. Invoke xuen: 1 min CD, 8 second duration, 2 charges. its like going super saiyen for windows of time of hitting harder and getting tougher, and thats exactly what vers does, makes us hit harder and take less damage. i love versatility for this reason and why ive been champion for legion alpha TEB to come back with it being changed from raw % to versa. id prefer our abilities to be empowered and for us to get stat amps. instead of summoning clones and tigers and ghosts and other crap. What direction i wish blizz would move us in is a godly empowered brawler thats more about getting windows of being empowered by xuen and chunking people. the length of time of popping off is far shorter than other classes, and you get to be a BAMF more often. ![]() its why i loved split personality on monk in Legion, and why i love vision of perfection on monk this xpack. so there times of being fun and cool arnt often enough. a lot of other classes have far longer cooldowns between there burst windows. i didnt sign up as a martial artist brawler to be a pet wrangling summoner spec.ģ: the core concept of the class being short CD burst windows without RNG i love. however blizz seem to want to move windwalker further and further away from this with giving us more and more garbage we spawn to fight for us. the key to key strokes of windwalker are more enjoyable from a base rotational viewpoint than a hell of a lot of other classes.Ģ: theres a couple of archetypes i love playing in games and a brawler is one of them. spamming raging blow and bloodthirst to then press rampage all night is boring. ![]() I personally just like the flying part and the ultra-mobile nature of the latter.1: the rotation isnt boring. One uses Blooming Kick + ult crest and the other one uses Eagle Dive + Rising Storm. I have crests and tech accessories for 2 builds. And it is also the only major skill that can be used at long range.Īlthough Eagle Dive Instant does only 2.2% less and Rising Storm Instant does 2.7% less. *This skill applies +20% damage taken debuff for 10s on enemies*īlooming Kick is indeed the best skill, giving you more damage when you land additional attacks. Tech+Crest makes a skill do 32% more dmg. This seem likes a "I already teched it so why not" build. At this state of necklace stats, a high-agi tech necklace for Eagle Dive is always the best option. ![]() Tech necklaces are available for Eagle Dive. Tech rings are available for Blooming Kick and Rising Storm. There is a dude who posted a video focusing on Eagle Dive combos. ![]()
